Elizabeth ROSS m. 15 Oct 1772 to James ALEXANDER. In Dec 1776 James ALEXANDER joined the Rev War in Chester Co., PA and he related in his Rev War pension application that he had been born 18 Apr 1749 in PA.

Elizabeth ROSS was b. 21 Oct 1753 (according to a family Bible where the inscription was added many years after her birth!) I found a New Castle County reference of an Elizabeth ROSS b. 21 Nov 1753 to parents John and Mary ROSS. She was baptised 29 Sep 1754 at the Holy Trinity Old Swedes Church in New Castle Co.

The 1782 Delaware Tax Assessment List shows a John ROSS at Mill Creek.
