C1754, John & Catherine McBride GOLD of Frederick Co, VA.(now Jefferson Co, WV) were given a lot in Wilmington, as part of the Thomas McBRIDE estate. James McBride was the executor of his father's estate. Some of the MC BRIDE's turned up in the Jefferson Co. area near the GOLDS. Does anyone know this family? The McBride's showed up in Brandywine Hundred lists in the 1770s, but what kin are they to Thomas McBride & his daughter, Catherine GOLD. Also need her marriage date, probably married in Delaware. Doing genealogy on GOLDS and need Delaware linkage. Thanks. Mary MOrris
