New Orleans, August 2 - We learn that while the Texan schooner of war Brutus was lying off Matagorda, the captain's boat, on its passage from Matagorda to the vessel, was capsized in a gale of wind, and a seaman by the name of James Rusher (from Smyrna, Delaware) was drowned.
