Watrus beckwith 1754-1822

I am trying to find vital records showing his parents. Both Beckwith and Brainard genealogies state parents are John Beckwith and Elizabeth Dart. Watrus birth listed on his marriage docs. As 18 Sept 1754, dies 1822 born and died in Lyme. First Spouse Mary Brainard. Just need this primary proof to complete my Mayflower lineage!

I am looking for any information about Mary W. Perry b.1899, daughter of Charles and Mary Perry. Born in England. Came to USA Sept. 21,1899. Lived in Newark, NJ. Visited England and In 1922 made return trip from England with mother and uncle Joseph Duckworth. Arrived from another visit to England on ILE DE FRANCE from Southampton, England on Dec. 22, 1949. Destination 41 North St. Danbury, CT. I am hoping to find some clue as to the date and place of the death of her father who was my grandfather. They are last seen in the 1860 census of Lyme both in their 60's. John had a first wife Abby----, 2nd wife Harriet-----, supposed daughter Abby Jane and more. 1830 census of Stonington there are 10 in the household. Did they die in lyme?

I have a photo of a house from my great-uncle. On the back it says "Joseph Peck house, Old Lyme, CT built in 1666." I think the photo was taken in the 1960's. I wonder if the house is still standing and where it is located. It's a small one story wood sided house with a central chimney.

I am trying to match up all my Jutila family
grandchildren,children,parents etc to Onnie J Jutila and his wife Impi (Piispanen) Jutila. I know Impi lived on Black Point Rd in Niantic, back in the 1950's (big house) and she and Onnie had at least 4 children. Ella(Ceila) Edwin, Fred, and James. I think Fred married Irene Sullivan? and Edwin may have married a woman named Frances> I also think both Edwin and Fred have died. Need to learn more about Ella, and James as well.
Impi was my grandmothers sister, her name was Sylvia Maria Piispanen Nelson. She lived in Quincy and later Reading Ma. Thank you so much.

Try the Barbour Collection archives. There was a large Maynard family in Hadlyme in the late 1800's and first half of the 1900's.

Are there any Lyme Vital Records online for this period 1750 - 1790, other than those found at the faboulous Devlin website and the New London site? I know portions of Lyme became part of other towns. Is that the case here so that I should be checking other towns for records during this era? Any help, thanks.

I recently purchased an old notebook belonging to Ezra Pratt, a Justice of the Peace in Lyme, Connecticut. In it the following marriage was recorded:
1826, July 7th. I then married Joseph Clark of East Haddam to Louis
(?Louise) Miller of Lyme. The publishment having been previously read by Esq. (can't make out name) in Pleasant Valley meetinghouse. Ezra Pratt Justice of the Peace

I recently purchased an old notebook belonging to Ezra Pratt, a Justice of the Peace in Lyme, Connecticut. In it the following marriage was recorded:
July 16, 1822 I lawfully married Erastus Rogers (or possibly Roges) and Delight Judd, a sister of Hogard William, They having been previously published at the meetinghouse in Pleasant Valley. Ezra Pratt.

Suggest you borrow a 3 volume set of books by Donald Lines Jacobus titled " Families of Ancient New Haven". Covers all the lines you mention and is incredibly well documented. I was able to get on inter-library loan very easily and then bought a set for myself from the NEHGS bookstore.
