I am looking for info on two sons of William Earle and Hephzibah Butts Earle: Nathaniel (b. 1705 in Little Compton, RI) and his brother John (b. 1712 in Little Compton). The brothers came to Pomfret probably during the 1720s, met and married two sisters: Nathaniel m. Sarah Adams, and about 1730 John m. Rachel Adams. The girls were daughters of Ensign Richard Adams and Mary Cady Adams of Pomfret. Both families were Quakers. I believe John and Rachel Adams Earll (John used this spelling) lived in Pomfret until about 1735 and had three children there. About 1735, John and his family removed to the Quaker settlemant at Beekman's Precinct, Dutchess County, NY. Any information is appreciated.
