My dad, Edwin Strakna, was born in Jewitt City, CT in 1922. The other day he told me about two brothers, Charles and Michael Musial, one of whom went to school with his older brother Al Strakna. They lived in Willimantic. Dad says that once at a party, he danced with the Musial brothers' half-sister, whose last name was Ryba. (Polish for fish - but I from my research, I think the name was actually Rybarz.) She told him that the CT Musials were related to the PA Musials, including the baseball great, "Stan the Man." Can anybody confirm this? It would make a 90-year-old man's day!
