I am looking for anyone with knowledge of my grandparents history. My grandfather, Jacob Elchuck (Ilchuk) 2/15/1897 was a polish immigrant who came to the US via Winnipeg Manitoba Canada. My grandmother, Mary Kalita 2/16/1902 was a polish immigrant who came Galicia. According to family history the two met at a Polish outing and were married 11/12/1923 in Willimantic CT. I can find some info on my grandmother as she had a large family and I know most of the names but my grandfather, their wedding, how he came to Ct. remain a mystery. If anyone could provide some help, it would be greatly appreciated
