I believe he is Nathaniel Sibley, born Jan. 1, 1783 in Willington, Tolland County, CT., son of Jonathan Sibley ( b. Mar. 4, 1750 in Willington, CT. ) and Patty Brooks ( b. Jan. 5, 1755 in Ashford, Windham County, CT. ). Jonathan Sibley was son of Benjamin Sibley and Priscilla Rich. So that's my project for the moment.
