I was related to Meyer Tober's second wife, Rose. I spent many holiday and summer vacations with them in Manchester, Conn. as a child in the 1940s and 1950s, and at their second home in New London near Ocean Beach. He was the owner of Tober Baseball and I visited the factory in Rockville and sorted bags of softball and baseball cut-out forms and watched as they were sewn by hand to make the balls. His sons Richard and Sidney went their own ways, not interested in the baseball business. The name Tolland rings a vague bell, not sure about that.
