Hello: I recently purchased a collection of identified CDV photo cards from the Connecticut area, and one is identified as Cornelia Daggett, mother of Calvin. Searching the census records, I found a Cornelia Daggett, married to Henry Daggett, with a son named Henry C Daggett living in Andover in 1870 and 1880. The 1900 census gives Henry C's birthdate as April 1861. her was married to Estella, and had a son named Henry E Daggett. In the 1870 and 1880 censuses there was a Calvin Daggett living next door to Cornelia and her husband, who would likely have been her father-in-law. I believe that Henry C was Henry Calvin, and that he used his middle name on most occasions, though he was always Henry C in the census records (but with his father and his son both named Henry, it appears the given name was still important to him.)
In any case, if anyone knows of a living relative who would be interested in this picture, I would be happy to return it to its rightful family. Please email me if you can provide any information. The picture is in a set that has no other Daggetts, but the name Lombard keeps coming up as I do research, so I think the original owner was a Lombard, and that all the other family lines connect to Lombards in some way.
best wishes
