I'm looking for information on a "Christopher Latham" who married a "Sabra". They had a son, "Edward Latham", or "Edward Waterman Latham", born 1806, in London County, who moved to Ohio, married a Jemina Clark, and then moved to Grant County, Wisconsin.

I found this information in an online inscription of a book about the history of Grant County, Wisconsin. (Full text at the end of this post.)

Edward Waterman Latham, son of Christopher Latham and Sabra. Christopher Latham (Jr) is the son of Christopher Latham, who is the son of Jasper Latham and Deborah (Avery).

This can't be right. Christopher Latham, Deborah Latham, and two Jasper Lathams are buried in Starr Cemetery and headstones are visible online (for Christopher, search for "Chritopher Latham" on Find a Grave). Deborah Latham is far too young to be his grandmother. She has to be the younger Jasper Latham's wife, who is listed as a Captain. The elder Jasper Latham's wife is Abigail, and he's listed as a Lieutenant.
