Hi All,

I'm looking for information on John Ames, son of John Ames Jr. and his second wife Rachel Comstock. John was baptized Sept 11 1737 in N.L. Town.

Also looking for information on Robert Ames, son of Robert Ames and Deborah Brockway Ames. Robert and Deborah were married May 15 1735, and Robert their son baptized Jun 25 1738 in N.L. Town.

One of the two sons (first cousins) above may very well be the father of my ancestor Sally Ames, who married Samuel Plumb Aug 27, 1785 (according to the N.L. Vitals).

Any help would be deeply appreciated!

Did you ever find your Sally Ames? I am looking for my ggggrandmother Sally Ames born 28 Feb 1798 in New York. She married John Moore in Ontario, Canada. Thanks!
