I am descended from the Royce/Rice line from Wallingford CT. Ebenezer Rice left Wallingford after 1767 and settled in Claremont NH. His son Ebenezer married Esther Shepard, probably in Otsego County NY. Esther's parents Henry Shepard and Esther Bundy were married in Westfield MA in 1771.

I would love to make some connection between the Rice and Shepard families so could you share what you have about Abner Rice and Experience Shepard? Do you know who her parents were?
