Thanks for the quick reply. I've been waiting for some of the statewide indexes to be made public for at least 15 years, (closed to the public, waiting to be filmed) they should be quite huge and very helpful in finding vital records more recent than the ones on microfilm which go to only around 1900 +- depending on the town & type of record.
FS has transcribed the microfilm records, and as of Sept 2017 show 100% arbitrated. Transcribed records have not been released yet (to my knowledge), but the original images in most cases can be viewed by searching the FS catalog as if you were going to order a microfilm. You can't order most films, but can view the images online.
