actually 'my nathaniel' was born about 1780-1785 so I don't think so. As a matter of fact before I had determined an estimated date of birth for him I had considered that this might have been a first marriage for Nathaniel. I have spent so much time looking for this guy and tried so many possibilities that I don't think there is an avenue that I have not searched to date. Nathaniel Bailey has been extremely illusive so far but I know that someone somewhere knows something. He married Desire Robinson (the younger one)in 1807, and I have plenty of information on her and her parents, but not nathaniel. I have not been able to locate a death record for him and actually not even sure which township would have the record. New Haven does not have it but East Haven might. He actually lived in a section known as 'Foxen'which is,I believe, part of what is now East Haven or North Haven
