Hello: I have recently purchased a collection of CDV pictures including a shot identified as Jim Farmer, taken at Readman Brothers studio on Main Street, Norwalk CT. There is no date on the picture, but it appears to have been taken in the 1870's or 1880's. The only James Farmers showing up in the census indexes around that period were elderly, and this picture is of a boy about 10-15 years of age.
