Am seeking help re: the above. He is found in the census beginning in 1790. I believe he immigrated from Edinburg, Scotland (date unknown) and was a Doctor. I don't know wife's name, either. They had a son, Jonathan W., born between approx 1788 in Middlesex.

I'm new at this so any ideas where I might locate any info to confirm his immigration, wife's name and whether he practiced medicine in the States? Also, any info on cemetary transcriptions that might list him, land transactions, death notices, wills, etc?

I'm sorry to ask so much, but do appreciate any help and/or guidance.
