Please re-check your info. The 1860 census of Middletown shows Lewis's living here. The head of household states her real estate valued at $2500. So, she was a person of means. There should be some other record of her. All are listed on the census as "white" including Albert.. Other ethnicities would have been noted as "B" fir black or "M" fir mulatto.
Albert was born 1846 so he couldnt have been married when you say.
