I'm particularly interested in the Joseph BECKLEY of Litchfield Co., CT. Some of his descendants apparently moved to Athens Co., OH. He had a son, Samuel BECKLEY who would have been a generation ahead of my Samuel BECKLEY b: abt1780.

My David GATES was from CT & migrated to Athens Co., OH. His gr dau., Hester, married a FREESE & resided Delaware Co., OH where FREESE m: Mary Jane BECKLEY, dau. of SAMUEL BECKLEY. This all took place late 1700's to mid 1800's.
