In case you haven't looked it up already, George S. Cary's wedding notice for his second marriage appeared in the Torrington Register Oct 12, 1928, page 5. Perhaps that Adeline's parents are named in the notice.

It is, "available on microfilm for free at the Register Citizen Newsroom Cafe (http://registercitizen.com/newsroomcafe, 59 Field Street, Torrington, Connecticut, or the Torrington Public Library (http://torringtonlibrary.org)"

Attached are the obituaries of Julia's parents. Her sister Lucy's wedding notice is what ties it all together as the correct Mrs Charles Miller because the wedding location of 61 Culvert St in Torrington was their address in the 1910 census.
