Charles Ransom Buckingham, son of Isaac Buckingham and Fanny Bronson, b. Derby 4 Dec 1833, d. Ansonia 2 Oct 1917. Charles married New Milford 5 Apr 1853 Maria Eliza Scott. Maria, daughter of Henry G. Scott and Mary Ann Gray, b. Woodbury 6 Jan 1834, d. Seymour 6 Feb 1929. Charles and Maria were buried in the Pine Grove Cemetery, Ansonia. They had the following children:
1) George Henry Buckingham, b. Derby 5 Sep 1853, d. 4 Jan 1908.
2) Ella Jeanette Buckingham, b. Derby 29 Aug 1855, d. 5 Jan 1945. Ella m. Derby 20 Jan 1875 Charles H. Cooper, son of William Cooper and Mary Ann / Amy Todd, b, Wolcottville 4 Mar 1849. He d. 28 Feb 1921, and buried in the Trinity Cemetery, Seymour.
3) Lillian Maria Buckingham, b. Derby 18 Sep 1857, d. 6 Sep 1954. Lillian m. Derby 18 Dec 1883 Alfred J. Burton, b. Brooklyn, N. Y., 28 Mar 1857, d. 7 Nov 1925. Lillian and Alfred were buried in the Pine Grove Cemetery, Ansonia.
4) Charles Isaac Buckingham, b. Derby 18 Jul 1859, d. 12 Mar 1862, and was buried in the Pine Grove Cemetery, Ansonia.
5) Hattie Jane Buckingham, b. Derby 12 Jan 1861, d. Derby 2 Sep 1882. Hattie m. at Derby 30 Dec 1880 Edward F. Gunn, son of Nathan Gunn and Jane E. Parmelee, b. Milford 6 Mar 1857, d. 1943. Hattie and Edward were buried in the Pine Grove Cemetery, Ansonia.
6) Charles Buckingham, b. Derby 29 Dec 1864, d. 22 Jun 1956. He m. (1) about 1889, a woman whose name is not known. He m. (2) about 1908, Henrietta (_____), b. about 1856 in New York State.
7) Walter Scott Buckingham, b. Derby 11 Nov 1866, d. 27 Feb 1949. He m. (1) Derby 27 Oct 1885 Leila Palmer, daughter of Jerome Palmer and Harriet L. Tyler, b. about 1863, d. 1910/1920. Walter married (2) about 1921, Anna (_____) b. Mass. about 1885. Walter was buried in the Pine Grove Cemetery, Ansonia.
8) Alice Clarissa Buckingham, b. Derby 6 Dec 1869, d. West Haven 16 Jun 1962. She m. 1889 Charles Emmanuel Dugmore, son of William Dugmore and Mary Ann Grigg, b. Birmingham, England, 30 Sep 1867, d. Ansonia 12 Jan 1938. Alice and Charles were buried in the Pine Gove Cemetery, Ansonia.
9) Birdsey Alexander Buckingham, b. Derby 21 Jul 1872, d. there 11 Aug 1873. He was buried in the Pine Grove Cemetery, Ansonia.
10) Bertha Wilhelmina Buckingham, b. Derby 21 Jul 1872, d. there 21 Sep 1872. She was buried in the Pine Grove Cemetery, Ansonia.
