Daniel Smith (b. 1729) of Danbury and Ruth Fitch (b. 1739) of Norwalk married 22 May 1760, lived in New Milford, Litchfield County, at start of the American Revolution, where they had a house and lot of 113 acres. Daniel ran a public house. He supported the British and came to New Brunswick in 1783. Believe his wife joined him there later. Where could I find information about Daniel's property in New Milford which was seized after the Revolution and about he or his wife while in New Milford?
