Any info on Valerian Senuta, died: 1930's, born in Lithuania in the late 1800's, and migrated to Hartford around 1900. He married Julia Pikturna b:1893 d:1987 in East Hampton, CT.

ALso need info on Helen (Carani) Morelli. B:1900 in Priola Italy, but lived most of her life in Hartford. d: 1965.

I believe, from what I have in a history of the Carani family, that we are all descended from Count (first name undocumented) Carani. He was a pirate off Sicily before uniting most of Sicily. Dates currently unknown, pre-unification. His descendants divided up. Some went to Romania and started the town of Carani. Others stayed in Sicily while still others moved to the U.S. and Brazil. From all of the documentation I have (passports, wedding bulletins, photographs, letters, government records), we are a single family, however spread out.
