I seek data of the family of Patrick Looney/Luony & wife Margaret of Killorglin, Co. Kerry, Ireland. They were married 25 Nov 1830. He was possiblely a blacksmith & had five children baptised in Killorglin in the 1830-40s. They were:
1). Ellen, baptised 20 Nov 1831.
2). Mary, baptised 25 Mar 1834.
3). Daniel, baptised 8 Nov 1840, married Mary Flynn on 1 Jan 1868 in Hartford, CT. Listed in 1870 & 1880 census as a blacksmith. Died 30 Jul 1897.
4). Catherine, baptised 21 Jan 1844, married James Meara on 11 Oct 1864 in Killorglin. Died 2 Jan 1905 in Lissavane West (near Killorglin), Co. Kerry.
5). Patrick, baptised 14 Mar 1847.

Can anyone say if Ellen, Mary or Patrick came to the US? Does anyone have data on Daniel prior to 1868, or have a DC or an obit? I have much data to share on Catherine's family & descendents. Please reply directly to:
