On some ship records the section about where the immigrant is going to stay lists a name and then Glennville, Connecticut Box {then a number}

I guess this was some type of p.o. box number. Does anyone know if there is a way to find more information about who owned these boxes? I'm finding references to relatives in these sections and them having trouble finding anything else about them.
