Thank you! I have spent decades researching those Knapps.

There actually are not that many Timothy cousins listed in AA Knapp's book. That doesn't mean much, AA did what he could but his work was full of holes. The first Cong Church of Greenwich burned down with all the records and the cemetery was also moved. The church was supposed to make a note of all the persons buried there and list them on the mass grave but that didn't happen for everyone or even most of them. None of the Mesnards were listed as well as many of the families they married into. I suspect there were probably double the number of Timothy Knapps in the area.

However, if you are using any of the Nicolas Knapp trees you can't miss the family.
I think I well described who the Timothy Knapp was. He is the only Timothy Sr alive in CT during the R-War. His father was the only Israel Sr in that same time as well.
