I now see that in the 1850 US census for Carlton, Orleans County, NY that Amos June is in the same household as Benjamin June. The following may give an approximate date when the shoemakers, JUNE, arrived in the village of Waterport in the town of Carlton.

Amos L. June a native of Connecticut, was born in 1824 and in 1848 he removed to Waterport. He married, in 1852, Debby Ann Palmer. She died in 1874 and in 1875 he married Jane McKennan.
