Hello; I am trying to research the family of Mona Frazer (Fraser) who was born in Kansas in 1887. Her mother was M Katherine Fraser (maiden name unknown), and by 1900 she was remarried to Bruce Griffin and living in Huntingtown CT. In 1930 Mona is listed as being married to Cliff Lewis who was a dentist in Shelton. Mona's parents were living next door. Mona and Cliff both died in Shelton, and I am hoping that someone from their family is still around. I have a diary written in 1910 by a woman that I believe was Mona's mother. Mona is mentioned regularly, and they made regular trips to Newtown, which is only a short distance from Huntingtown. This is a great diary, and I would like to try to confirm that it was written by Mona Frazer Lewis' mother, but I need help from a relative who knew the family. According to the diary, the family spent time in Mankato Minnesota in 1910, which doesn't exactly match up with Bruce's occupation at the time (he seems to have been running a button factory, and Cliff eventually took it over according to city directory records available on line. Anyway, if anyone is related to this family, and can confirm the living in Minnesota, I am hopeful that this diary can make it back to a family member.
