I recently purchased a collection of CDV's (photographs) from Connecticut and Wisconsin, and one is identified as Jim Farmer. The picture was taken a t Readman Bros. 13 Main St. Norwalk, Conn in the late 1870's or early 1880s (my guess). I have searched the census records, and cannot find a Jim or James Farmer in Connecticut around that time, but am hoping that someone will recognise the name or the face and claim him for their family archives. If you have any info that would help return this picture to its rightful family, please let me know.
