No, I did not mean that you specifically was/were linking them incorrectly.
Just that there are/were many others who had done so.
Since the DNA testing began, does help to sort us all out so nicely.
Into more manageable and surprising smaller research groups.
Very enlightening as well.
I see that Helen does reference the RUNDALL/RANDALL references on her file on
www.rootsweb.ancestry.com and
too, does sort out the many John MILLS or MILES from the MILLS of Jamaica, LI NY USA.
On the Y DNA MILLS chart, there is NOT any MILES though listed.
So that does not help those who have a MILLS who might actually be a MLES.
Just goes back to all the very OLD records,when the two surnames were mangled so badly.
Can only try to link up those who are listed on the two charts and see if any of those kits actually do match each other.
Can read the post I made on Helen's file, re the John MILLS, about the reference that one put on findagrave.com but that person closed down any referrals forward to them
from there.
