I have two Raymond O'BRIENs in my family and just to confuse things further, they both served in the Army and in the Pacific in WWII.

1. Raymond. T. O'Brien
Son of Michael Joseph O'Brien & Frances Beyer.

Was born in Stratford CT about 1920. Raymond was married to Irene Barrett on Dec. 27, 1941 at St. Ambrose Church. Raymond graduated from Stratford High School. I believe Raymond died in WWII in the Pacific on July 7. 1943 and was awarded the Bronze Star.

2. Raymond J. O'Brien
Son of Thomas O'Brien & Alice Kennedy.

Born abt. 1925 in Bridgeport CT. Graduated from Central High in 1943. This Raymond is related to me through the Kennedy line and not the O'Brien line -- Thomas married into my family. This Raymond also served in WWII -- first in Europe and then in the Pacific. Happily, his fate was better than the other Raymond; this Raymond made it back to the US and Bridgeport alive. I believe Raymond moved to Willimantic abt. 1950.

Does anyone know one or both of these Raymond O'Briens? Thanks for your time.
