Are you still looking? We posted back and forth about 10-11 years ago and I haven't forgotten about your quest. As I mentioned back then, my aunt Nora "Marie" Battaglini Mann left the Chicago-area abruptly in the early 60's. We never heard from her. When the internet came into being I tracked down information that she had died in an assisted living facility associated (and next to)the Catholic Catherdral in Denver. I do know that she was a registered nurse and that she had a rocky marriage from the start. We believe her husband, Mike Mann, left her early in their marriage. I have pictures of her, but not much more than my Mom's loving memories. Let me know if you have ever made any progress in you hunt. I adopted both of my children and I can imigine what you're feeling.
