Looking for any info on this lady. She is a distant cousin by marriage but very "famous" in our little town. We have a side saddle that she owned in our museum and we would love a picture of her using that saddle or any stories about her in Colorado---leadville and Hotchkiss. Thanks.John Doughty was her father. Mary Whiting Doughty was her mother. She was born in 1870 and died in Hotchkiss, CO in 1940. She was married in 1891 in Delta county Colorado in 1891. So the late 1800's and early 1900-1930, I would say, would be a good time frame. I have census reports, marriage license, etc. Mainly want the picture or stories. The Doughtys tried to start a Spa in Hotchkiss after buying land with springs but that fizzled out.
