Hello: there is a William Swords living in Lawrence, Marion Indiana in 1860 with a son George who is about the right age for your George. According to the 1880 census, George's mother was born in Ohio and his father was born in Kentucky. On the 1860 census this George's mother was born in Kentucky and his father was born in Ohio. (It is interesting to note that George's wife Harriet had the same birthplaces for herself and her parents as George did - perhaps there was some confusion on the census day.)
