John Edward KREIDLER is listed as the son of John & Rebecca (Bailey) KREIDLER in his mother's obituary. of Sept. 8,1947 ( Fullerton ,NE)
It states that he was a resident of Julesburg ,CO at that time.
Am seeking any information on this man and any family he may have had.
Am interested in locating his death date and burial place or obituary.
Will appreicate any help as I live in Pennsylvania.

Yes, Terry, I talked with him about a month ago. .Then I snail mailed some information, but have had no reply.
However, it as clear to me that he is a decendant of the John E.& Rebecca Kridler that are in the 1900 Census of Fullerton, Nance Co.,NE. (Dwelling 299 ) living on Irving St. there.
A son , John Edward, age 3, is listed.., This boy is the father or grandfather of the John E. Kridler in Montrose Co.
Also listed in that Census is Daniel Kreidler , age 85 (b. 1815 in PA of German immigrants) living with John & Rebecca
I am sure Daniel is the younger brother of John Kridler who married Lydia Ransom in 1835.

There is so much material that I think you might be interested in seeing it for yourself..

Now in regard to your 2nd reply on the Samuel R.Kreidler & D.F. Hallett--- Please explain how you are related to Samuel Kriedler or is it the Hallett line??
Marian Kreidler Hallett was the sister of Samuel Ransom Kreidler. Their parents were John & Lydia Ransom Kreidler who went to Carroll Co. IL in about 1853. The were married in 1835 in Plymouth, Luzerne Co.,PA. Lydia was the sister of my great-grandfather. I can tell you much about John & Lydia.

Am presently trying to track down the children & current descendants of these two Doctor/brothers-in-law.- -Sam'l Kreidler & D.F. Hallett. Do you qualify, or can you point me in the right direction?

Dr. Sam (1848) is my gg grandfathers second cousin and my second cousin four times removed. His great grandfather was my ggggg grandfather. It sounds like your connection is through the Ransom line.

I had an email message from Karen Allyn Keil (karenkeil@aol.com) back in Dec of 1995 asking about descendents of John and Lydia Ransom Kreidler. You might try her. There is also a John David Kreidler in San Francisco who is a direct descendent of Dr. Sam Back in 1995 his email address was MJKreidler@aol.com. I have no idea if either of these email addresses are still good, but they should be worth a try.
