If your mom's name is Eleanor and your brother's name is Bill, you most likely are my cousin. Your name would be Linda. You mentioned something about Aunt Sophie's children having much information regarding the
Eckardt family. The problem with that is I don't have an Aunt
Sophie and if you indeed are my cousin, neither do you. I have a Great Aunt
Sophie who lived her entire life in River
Grove,
Illinois. She was the sister of my Grandma Dora
Eckardt and to my knowledge did not have any children. Please let me know how this fits in with your data pool. If you are my cousin I would very much like to know what you have gathered. I do have an entire family tree for both the
Helle family as well as the
Eckardt family,the
