Surnames: REILLY
Have found some more info in my papers regarding my great uncle James H. REILLY. I have a picture of him, sitting on the driver's seat of a stagecoach in front of a building with a sign "THE DEPOT" and another sign which says "IDAHO SPRINGS". ON the back of the picture, it states: "Here's your Uncle Jim driving the Concord stagecoach he built. Picture was taken in Idaho Springs, Colo. during the Centennial celebration in July, 1959. To Jane from Stella and Patsy."
I also found another obit clipping which states in part:
" Funeral arrangements for James (Jim) Henry Reilly, 58, of South Fork, are pending at the Sharp & Doney Funeral Home.
Reilly's body was found Saturday by his widow when she returned from fixing a fence on their 40 acre ranch. He had been shot in the head. Joe Doney, Rio Grande County deputy coroner, said a note found nearby indicated Reilly took his own life because of two years of ill health.
Reilly was a saddlemaker. His widow is a court reporter for Rio Grande County District Court. He was born July 9, 1904 in Oregon, IL. He had lived in Colorado for 16 years..."
If anyone has any info on this man and his family, I would really appreciate hearing from them. Thank you in advance.
