Father and husband may have been railroaders.

Need documentation of birth (ca 1905), marriage (if married), death and burial of William Pierce or Price, s. of Richard Pierce or Price and Lucy Celena Parridine (Parrie) Poe. William was probably born in Colorado, but family tradition says he died in a railroad accident and is buried in Eldon, Miller County, Missouri.

On a cd called Colorado Marriages 1858-1939 An Index Compiled by The Denver Public Library c.2004 Colorado Genealogical Society.

Loretta A. Pierce married Vibcent G. Nessen - 1 June 1935 registered the marriage in Denver County.
Yes, his name is spelled Vibcent in the index.

Richard Pierce married Clara Poe - 17 Sept. 1890 registered in the marriage in Denver County;

Not sure about this one because there were many William's in the index, but this is the only one registered in Pueblo County.
Wm E. Pierce married Virginia I. Edgell - 7 Oct 1930 registered the marriage in Pueblo County.

Thank you so much for your response. Another researcher from Pueblo County sent me census records and the Richard Pierce/Clara Poe marriage, based on all of the other information she provided and I already knew; my great aunt. The Lauretta Pierce/Vibcent Nessen marriage is the one that I was looking for.

However, the William Pierce/Virginia Edgell marriage is probably not a match. With the census records I've been sent and the marriage record you sent; my William Pierce was about 10 years to old to be this one. This is probably the William E. Pierce that is listed in the 1930 Federal Census of Pueblo County in the household of Asnath Pierce as a 21 year old shipping clerk. Virginia I. Edgell also appears in that census as a 16 year-old.
