Everett E. Jaycox was born January 4, 1911 in Hayes Center, NE. He was the son of Bertrand and Beulah Jaycox and moved with his family from Hayes Center, NE to Holyoke as a child.
Everett was married to Pearl Martin on December 10, 1938. They were engaged in farming in the Pleasant Valley community east of Holyoke until their retirement in 1976 when they moved to their present home in Holyoke.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother Kenneth Jaycox.
Everett is survived by his wife Pearl of Holyoke; children Leland of Colorado Springs, Nancy L. Isaacson of Ft. Collins, Karen S. Hogsett of Loveland and Jerry of Ft. Collins; one brother George Jaycox of Tumwater, WA; six sisters Wauneta Cole of Elma, WA, Lois Fernstrom of Yakima, WA, Vera Hagemann of Holyoke, Betty Mintling of Wauneta, NE, Wanda Hickenbottom of Washington State, Albert Karraker of Mesa, AZ and seven grandchildren.
Everett passed from this life May 11, 1988 in Holyoke. Services were held Saturday, May 14, 1988 from the United Methodist Church in Holyoke with Jim Mort officiating. Burial followed in the Pleasant Valley Cemetery.
