Frank Cheramy was born on February 26, 1885, and died at the hospital in Omaha on Monday, September 7, 1903. For a number of years he made his home with his parents in Phillips County. About six weeks before his death he went to Omaha to undergo a surgical operation for appendicitis. He seemed to get through the operation in a very satisfactory manner and up till a few days before his death was reported to his friends in this county as improving in his physical condition. A telegram was received Monday announcing his death. The funeral was conducted from his mother’s home in this county, Rev. Parker of Holyoke preaching the sermon, and the body was laid to rest in the country cemetery.* He was a young man who was highly esteemed by many friends. His death coming so sudden and so unexpectedly is quite a severe blow to the family.
