Jacob Redpath (b. 1842 IN, d. 1918 CO) and his brother William Redpath (b. 1843 IN, d. 1925 CO)moved with their families to Colorado from Indiana.

Jacob married Temperance Ann Carmichael (b. 1840 IN, d. 1915 CO). They were married 1864 in Grant County, IN. They moved to Alma, Park County, CO in 1880 and stayed until 1887. Their youngest child Lola Jane Redpath was born 1881 in Alma, Park County. The family moved to Meeker, Rio Blanco County, CO after 1887.

William married Nancy Margaret Edington (b. 1844 OH, d. 1929 CO). They were married 1867 in Delaware County, IN. They had two sons: Charles W. (b. 1868 IN, d. 1900 CO) and Renville R. (b. 1875 IN).

Sarah E. Carmichael (sister of Temperance) b. 1837 IN, d. CO married William Shidler (b. 1834 OH, d. CO). They moved to Park County, CO from IN.
