I'm seeking information about the descendants of my great, great grandfather Daniel Lewis who lived in La Junta (Otero County, Colorado) until his death in 1923.He was married to Cynthia Anthony, had four children, a Mrs. Spires, Mrs. J. W. Mahan (or Mahau) of La Junta, a Mrs. C. Theis of Pueblo, and my grandfather, William Lewis. William joined the U.S. Expeditionary Forces in 1899 and was sent to the Philippines to fight the Filipino insurgents. He stayed there after his tour of duty, married my grandmother, and had eight children. William passed away in 1938.
