Hi Ray, First off, I must tell you that I might have information about some of your Gill relatives because I came across some Gills on a "foal registration" in my Great Uncle's papers. And I think my Grandmother had a neighbor named Gill in Ft. Morgan during the 1960s. I'll dig out the names and dates if you are interested.

As far as Burtis Huston goes, I have his name on a letter dated 28 January 1918. Burtis must have been a member of "The Home Club for Our Boys in Service" because this was the first letter the club sent to my Great Uncle, Richard (Dick) Leise. Burtis' name is mentioned in the introduction of the club members and also in a later paragraph that says, "Burtis Huston is moving to Illiff."

I know you posted this many years ago so you might not be looking for this information any more but if you would like to hear about the Gills or anything else I find about Burtis Huston please reply here and I'll be glad to help.
