Debra Mock Lewis, 47, of Loveland died Sept. 24, 2002, at McKee Medical Center in Loveland.
She was born Dec. 24, 1954, in Longmont to Andrew C. and LaVonne McGahau Mock. With the exception of a few years in Houston, she lived her whole life in Loveland.
She married Scot Lewis on Aug. 22, 1998, at Viestenz-Smith Mountain Park in the Big Thompson Canyon.
She graduated from Loveland High School and later attended Front Range Community College, where she majored in photography and participated in a mentoring program.
She opened Briarwood Photography Studio in historic downtown Loveland in 1990. In the early years of the studio, she provided family and wedding photography. In later years, she specialized in photographing infants, children and expectant parents.
Besides her passion for photography, Mrs. Lewis was a committed and loving mother, wife, daughter and sister.
She was a member of the Professional Photographers Association and the Loveland Chamber of Commerce.
Mrs. Lewis is survived by her husband, Scot Lewis of Loveland; two sons, Andrew Crutcher and Cody Crutcher, both of Loveland; a daughter, Shawna Smikahl and husband Mark of Loveland; her mother, LaVonne Mock of Loveland; and two grandchildren, Delaney and Korinna Smikahl of Loveland.
She was preceded in death by her father, Andrew Mock.
A celebration of life service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Monday at Allnutt Funeral Service.
