Leons R. Recker, 84, of Fort Collins, died June 23, 2000, in Loveland.
Mr. Recker was born March 9, 1916, in Algona, Iowa, to George and Lela Mendenhall Stewart. She attended business school in Mankato, Minn.
In 1943, she married Charles Recker in Algona.
Mrs. Recker was a resident of Buffalo Center, Iowa, for 20 years before moving to the Loveland/Fort Collins area in 1961.
She owned and operated a beauty salon in Buffalo Center, and retired from Colorado State University.
Mrs. Recker attended the First United Methodist Church in Loveland. She enjoyed reading, crocheting, playing bridge and collecting antique dishes. She loved spending time with her family.
Survivors include her sons Bob Recker of Aurora, and Dave Recker and wife Sharon of Coon Rapids, Minn.; four grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by a sister, Helen Cobb; brother George Stewart; and husband Charles A. Recker.
Visitation will be 5;30-8 p.m. Tuesday at Resthaven Memory Gardens.
Services will be 10;30 a.m. Wednesday at the First United Methodist Church, 533 N. Grant Ave., Loveland.
Burial will be in Resthaven Memory Gardens.
Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Larimer County.
