HAUSE, Joseph, wife Fanny, and daughter are living at 130 E. 8th. st. Leadville, Co. Occupation: Retail Grocer.

Would like information regarding his occupation: where it was located, was he the owner, etc. Photos would be wonderful.

I know that Joe was married 3 times, he lived in SLC utah, owned a saloon there, moved to San Diego, Ca. owned a restaurant, died in 1914, San Diego.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Joseph sold food supplies to Leadville's citizens.The store was 1 block off main street. He was not the owner. There are no photos, but there are mention of them in the Leadville papers.

Frank, thank you for the information. Can you tell me the name of the grocer I'd like to find more information on him, perhaps he was a business partner later in Utah or California?
