I am looking for information on my g grandparents, Savanah NEWELL, b 3/24/1893 to George Washington NEWELL and Nancy FISHER NEWELL in Barber, Co., Kansas and homesteaded in Kiowa Co. CO. at the opening of the Cherokee Strip (info please) in 1914 and info on her husband Frank Campbell BUNCH, b 7/25/1889 to James Jewell BUNCH and Sarah Martha CURRY in Farmersburg, Indiana and homesteaded in Kiowa Co. Colo. next to Savanah's homestead in 1911 (or vice-versa). They were married 10/14/1917 in Lamar, CO. In 1919 or -20 Bunch traded homestead for one in San Luis Valley. Last lived in Canon City, disappeared March 1929. Newell homestead said to still be in family.
