The name I am looking for
is Otto Boche (Bosche), born in Prussia c1837. He came to the U.S. with
brothers, to Philadelphia. The earliest I know he was in Colorado was
1868, when his daughter Anna was born.

She was the first of 9 children (Anna, Emma, Ella, Carrie, Addie, Lewis,
Samuel, and Albert). He shows in Clear Creek County (Silver Plume) early
on, but family legend says he owned the first brewery in Colorado, a
saloon, and a ranch. We think the businesses were in Golden. The family
further says both the brewery and saloon were destroyed in a massive fire
that destroyed much of Golden? Do you have any information on such a
fire?
