I need help with ANY info on Quince Records and family. He is supposed to buried along with his wife (I have no name) at the "foot of Lookout Mountain". He had played "taps at Buffalo Bills funeral and (it is belived) that he held some public office with the State of Colorado. Thanks!

I am looking for any info relating to Quince Record(s)who had worked as a "State Director" for 38 years. His wife was Effie and they were said to have buried at the base of Lookout Mountain. He had played "taps" at Buffalo Bill's funeral.thanks

Heard about your online search about "Uncle" Quince Record from my son who is tracing our family roots. I remember him as a close family friend to the Kyde family in Denver. I was about 4 or 5. I remember playing with the bugle that he used to play Taps for Buffalo Bill. That bugle is now at the Buffalo Bill Museum in Cody, Wyoming. It is not always on display. If you want to contact me directly, my email is joanandon@msn.com.
Good luck with your search,
Don Williams
