William R. Goward, born in Colorado 8 Sept 1912 and died 17 Jul 1997 with a last residence of Lakewood, Jefferson County, CO.

He had married
Thelma K. (_) who was born 1 Apr 1914 and d 13 Apr 2001, also in Lakewood.

* THELMA GOWARD , 87, of Lakewood died April 13. Inurnment was at Fort Logan National Cemetery. Mrs. Goward was born in Graham on April 1, 1914. She married William GOWARD , 1938. She was a stewardess for Union Pacific Railroad and later worked in the health clinic of Denver Federal Center. Survivors include a sister Grace Christensen of California.

WILLIAM GOWRAD , 84, of Lakewood died July 18. Mr. Gowrad was born in Denver on Sept. 8, 1912. He married Thelma Kieler, 1938. He was a veteran of the Air Force. He worked as a refrigeration salesman and was a member of Veterans of Foriegn Wars and Denver Order of the DeMolay. His wife survives him.

According to the Colorado Marriage Index 1859-1939, Thelma G Kieler married William R Gouard in Clear Creek County, 8 Sept, 1938, license # 2287.
Note the spelling of William's last name.
